I would suggest that the easiest way to take surveys is join a paid membership site that way you can have surveys sent straight to you without having to search for them on the net. The best thing to make a lot of money from is by working in focus groups as well as taking surveys. You would be able to make a good base salary right from the get go. Then if you wanted to you could also do some re con of your own on the net and find more surveys for you to take and then you'll have more income coming in.
